FRENCH EXAMS & ACADEMIC FINALS
Your exam has a format.
Your preparation should have
a portrait.
From DELF and TCF to high school and college finals, prepare not only to know French—but to show what you know when it counts.
THE EXAMINER'S PERSPECTIVE
I've written and graded exams.
I know what is expected.
As a former college-level professor of French as a Foreign Language (FLE), I've designed final examinations, evaluated student work, and applied grading criteria. I use that experience to help you understand what assessors are looking for, structure stronger answers, avoid common mistakes, and develop a strategy to earn the points your work deserves.
Preparation is about both French proficiency and exam performance: knowing how to demonstrate your skills clearly, accurately, and within the time available.

PERSONALIZED PREPARATION
Begin with your strengths and gaps.
I assess how you understand, recall and produce French, then build the language work and examination practice that fit your needs.
DELF
DELF preparation
Targeted work for DELF A1, A2, B1 and B2, including listening, reading, writing, speaking, and the vocabulary and grammar underpinning those tasks.
TCF
TCF preparation
Lessons adapted to the TCF version you need, combining relevant examination exercises with work on the language skills behind each challenge.
FOR HIGH SCHOOL & COLLEGE STUDENTS
Prepare for French tests, exams & finals.
Whether you're preparing for a high school French exam, an end-of-term assessment, or a college final, we focus on the exact skills your course evaluates—grammar, reading, listening, writing, speaking, and organized responses.
HIGH SCHOOL
Build accuracy and exam confidence.
Review class topics, strengthen weaker skills, practice typical test tasks, and learn how to interpret instructions and present complete answers.
COLLEGE & UNIVERSITY
Know what earns marks.
Prepare for quizzes and finals through targeted language work, timed practice, effective written and oral responses, and feedback informed by college-level assessment experience.
Bring your syllabus, exam format, revision guide, or teacher's instructions if available. We'll use them to target your preparation.
BEYOND TEST SCORES
Why was that question difficult?
If you struggle with listening, we might need to work on spoken structures or vocabulary retrieval—not simply repeat another test. Continuous assessment guides those choices.
